The partner deal
Short, because the deal is short. You send a client our link with your code on it. If they pay, we pay you A$20. This page is the whole agreement; the partners page says the same thing in fewer words.
Who can be a partner
A bookkeeper, an accountant, or an advisor to trades and small businesses, in Australia, with clients of your own. We say yes or no by email, the same day, and we can say no without a reason. A partner is not our agent, employee or representative, and cannot make promises on our behalf.
The code and the link
You get one code and one link, threefixes.com/?p= followed by your code. An order is yours when the client's checkout carries your code, which the link sets for ninety days on the device they open it on. That is the only way an order is attributed. An order that arrives without your code is not yours, even if the client heard about us from you, because we have no other honest way to tell.
What we pay
- A$20 for every paid order that carries your code, paid the month after the papers are delivered.
- Nothing for a refunded order. A client we cannot write an honest report for gets their A$99 back in full, and that order counts for nothing.
- Nothing for your own orders, or orders from your practice, its staff or its owners.
- No cap on clients. Send it to as many as you like.
When and how we pay
Monthly, by bank transfer to an Australian account, for the orders delivered in the previous month, with a one-line statement naming the orders it covers. We pay against your invoice, or, if you would rather, we issue a recipient-created tax invoice on your behalf. If you are registered for GST, tell us, and the A$20 is treated as including it.
The programme cap
The programme pays out A$2,000 in total across every partner, which is the first hundred referred orders. When that is reached, codes and links keep working for your clients and payouts stop. We tell every partner by email when it happens, and again if the programme reopens.
What we ask of you
- Send the link to your own clients and contacts, people who would expect to hear from you, with a way to say stop. Your sends are yours: you are responsible for them under the Spam Act, and a complaint about your sends ends the arrangement.
- No paid advertising on the Three Fixes name, and no pretending to be us. Say who you are.
- Do not promise a client anything this site does not promise. The offer is on the front page and the terms are on the deal.
How it ends
Either side can end this on thirty days' notice by email. Orders delivered before the end date are paid on the usual schedule. We can end it immediately for a breach of the asks above, and anything owed for orders before that date is still paid.
Privacy
Your client's answers are theirs. You never see their report or their answers unless they show you, and the statement you receive names orders by their support number and date, not by the client's name.
